Have you ever wondered where the inspiration behind some of my collections came from? While new designs are born from your suggestions, others have taken shape in my imagination during travels or important moments in my life. The latest collection, Citron, is appearing in stores just in time to welcome the summer season. I tell you the story behind it.

A thirst for exploration and adventure
It's hard not to get bored of traveling when the last two years have deprived us of it. With the gradual return to a post-pandemic life, travel abroad is gradually resuming and it was on this occasion that my family and I planned a long-awaited trip. Our destination: a cruise in the Mediterranean, discovering some of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
Day 2 of this cruise had as a stopover the famous city of Naples, crowded with tourists on this sunny day. Wanting to escape the busy city life, we boarded a taxi that would take us along the Amalfi Coast to Positano. The road to get there was already a destination in itself. The steep cliff and the narrow streets gave a view of the sea and the mountains. Vineyards, olive trees and flowers of all colors intertwined in front of the colorful facade of the houses. But what amazed me the most were the lemon trees, in abundance, which grew in the hollows of the trees. Grapefruit-sized and bright yellow, they looked so enticing.
Stopping on the side of the road to admire one of the most beautiful views of Amalfi, I took the opportunity to refresh myself with a lemon granita, as fresh as it was delicious. Once we arrived in Positano we had an hour or two to explore this incredible place before we had to drive back. Between two bites of pizza, we bought a bottle of Limoncello, an alcoholic lemon liqueur. We drank it with both feet in the sand, observing the landscape that stood before our eyes. It was a magical moment. Everywhere we looked, it was absolutely beautiful.
A new collection is born
On the way home, it occurred to me to create a collection that would remind me of the beauty of this place and the freedom to travel. This is when the Citron collection was born. Once back in the workshop, my brushes in hand, I gave life to this new design, which embodies freshness, holidays and the sun. This collection is currently available in 6 pieces:
- A bottle of water with infuser
- A jug of water
- An insulating glass
- an oil cruet
- A double-walled mug
- An insulated mug
Who knows, maybe others will emerge in the coming weeks, depending on the inspiration of the moment. These pieces, like all the others, are only available for a limited time.
I'm very excited to bring them to you, and I want you to have as much fun using them as I had creating them.
