🎨 10 fun facts that stand out from my Pero adventure
It's already been 16 years since the Pero adventure began. When I think about it, I can't help but smile, because this journey has been filled with color, challenges, travels, and precious moments shared with you. To celebrate this journey, I wanted to gather 10 fun and noteworthy facts that tell the story behind my company better than anything else.
1. A first play… without a business plan!
My business started with a single hand-painted piece, without any clear idea of where it would lead. But passion took over and guided me.
2. A logo born from a nickname
The name Pero is a diminutive of my family name. Over time, it has taken on an even stronger meaning:

3. Three years in the Netherlands: endless inspiration
My time in theNetherlands transformed my perspective on colors, nature, and simplicity. This period is still present in several of my collections.
4. A family business first and foremost
My husband has been packing parcels for 5 years now, and my three daughters join me in this adventure with their unique talents. That's our strength.
5. A conference that showed me the strength I had within me
Speaking at the Canadian Tulip Festival in May 2025 in Ottawa was a significant milestone, an incredible moment of sharing and a major challenge because it was the day I learned that my beloved mother was at the end of her life.
6. Stepping outside your comfort zone
Each season, I challenge myself to offer totally unique designs, sometimes inspired by my travels or my favorite flowers.
7. Travel as creative fuel
From Martinique to the Maritimes and the Dolomites, each trip feeds my imagination. My recreational vehicle, Albert the RV , has become a source of inspiration for 6 months of the year; yes, it has a name, and yes, I talk to it.
8. Hidden words beneath my creations
Sometimes I add a little note or intention under a piece. It's my way of leaving a secret, an intimate trace of my creative moment, to inspire you every day.
9. Approximately 10,000 unique creations over the years.
What touches me the most? Knowing that my pieces become gifts of life: for a wedding, a birth, a departure or simply to say "I'm thinking of you".
10. Authenticity as a guiding principle
For 16 years, my greatest pride has been to have maintained this authenticity which makes each Pero creation not just an object, but a colorful story to offer.
